this is the email i received today from a job i applied to in mid-January:
Thank you for applying on 01/23/12 for posting 12-000003 PROGRAM COORDINATOR I. We appreciate your interest in employment with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; however we have chosen a candidate whose qualifications more closely match our needs.which is hilarious because i had the EXACT SKILL SET they were looking for. i have to laugh, because otherwise i'd drive to Newark to ask why i wasn't even brought in for an interview.
