being sick when it's warm out blows chunks.
going to nyc later today to see Kevin Spacey in "A Moon for the Misbegotten" - it closes june 10, so we're lucky we got tix. i'll write about it when we get back.
finally finished "you shall know our velocity" by dave eggers. at first i didn't like it - i thought he was being too clever with his language (and that's all i could pay attention to, which is very annoying), but then i got into the story and the language started flowing with the story and i really, really liked it by the end. it was one of those stories that i was sad when it ended because i wasn't ready for it to end yet. he got that delicate recipe of truth, beauty and reality just right - he gave everything dignity and grace yet kept it real. i definitely learned a good lesson that will help me in completing the novel.
now i just need that time off from work to get it done right :-/
