baseball season is upon us and now that cable is carrying the MLB Extra Innings package again, the boy is happy and obsessed with that til october. i don't mind those games being on - at least it's better than freakin stupid football - although following the phillies AND the red sox is a bit much, especially when both games are on at the same time and he keeps on flipping back and forth. i can't keep track of who's winning and losing ;-)
so, after teaching the older adult class this morning, i am now officially on vacay until tuesday the 17th. i'll be visiting the fam and friends in the b-lo, then meeting the boy in LI for a carny weekend. i took off the monday after that (16th) just because i'll need a day of rest after all that ;-) here's hoping i get to some of the projects i've been lagging on before i leave monday. mister b is going to be mad at me for being gone almost a week.
