procrastination in the form of tweaking

as you can see, i've tweaked the layout a bit. new background (which i had previously saved as a wallpaper for my laptop). two sidebar columns. just trying to keep things interesting and pretty. really, i have to be honest with myself and say it's avoiding having to do writing. i'm just a lazy-ass. plain and simple. i can see the whole story in my head - playing over and over like a dvd - but sitting down and getting all the words and descriptions onto paper exactly the same way i see it is a total pain in the ass. i really want to have this thing done and out there by the big 3-5 bday, so it looks like it's time to set myself some deadlines. that was the only way i worked well in school. the big problem is what should the punishment be if i don't get certain things done by a certain date....anyone have any ideas?

interesting news on the work front: wifi philly contacted me on friday based on my testimony from last year's public forum. they liked what i had to say (which was "yeah, this is great, but there's a lot we need to warn/inform kids and adults about") and want my organization (really, it'll be me) as one of the community contacts helping with educating everyone. i'm totally psyched about it because it's something i believe in and the idea to get involved with wifi philly was my idea to begin with. now i just have to make sure no one takes credit for it (but at least i have previously identified the untrustworthy ones who would try to do that).

current mood: contemplating making dinner (mmmm tapas)
current noise: ghost hunters marathon, which is way better than the stupor bowl)

Ha, Its Angie in your base sending you a blog comment.

I like your layout, very under the seaish. Anyway, ah, Ghosthunters, I hate that show. My little sister subjected me to it for hours. I dont believe ghosts, lost souls, not ghosts so I think the show is quite boring much like the superbowl. I hate sports and I especially hate the hype thats caused over them.

I did not have the greatest of weekends otherwise. I was very sick and having to deal with family drama and two ex bf's and their drama is not exactly fun city.
Anyway at least I got to watch some South Park, sleep, and hang out with an aqantance. Eh, not much interesting about my weekend I guess but, eh.
