so i talked to the boy about giving myself a deadline for a first draft of the novel and told him i needed a really good consequence if i don't finish it. he came up with the idea that he'd write out a bunch of stuff that i normally would complain about and i'd have to do them.
that's good enough for me....off to write the damn novel! :-P

i popped HUGE for that. such a brilliant consequence...i'm sure to write a couple of novels before then just so i don't have to vote republican ;-)
