i'm up waaaaay too early this morning (2 hours too early) b/c the boy needed to get to the airport, so i finally have a moment to post this week.

if you haven't seen any of the photos of apple's new iphone from the macworld expo, here's a little peek:



purdy, ain't it? and if you have the time, watch the iphone introduction from steve jobs. i think the multi-touch screen is extra-neato. it means you don't need to have a keyboard attached to the bottom, you don't have to have one of those stupid stylus and you move around on menus by moving your finger up or down to create a scrolling action. [sigh] if the boy does get this before me (which he was threatening last night), i'm going to have to kill him for it ;-)

the other bit of geek news is since the boy is tired of me mentioning it every day for three weeks, we're finally getting a wii. i think he's still not sold on how cool it is, but i just have to get him a game that's easier to play than the demo in the store (zelda - which looked pretty complicated). there goes my plans for writing this weekend. wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. anyone have recommendations on games to buy?
