call me crazy

"ok. hello, crazy"

since i'm in the mood to write and i can't write the thing i should be because i need to be asleep in an hour, not four...

i was thinking about reality shows...do people get addicted to them because of the competition that they can safely participate in by passively watching on their sofas or in their beds, instead of going out into the world and persuing their own dreams, risking winning and losing, humiliation and success; going out and braving the world, regardless of the consequences. and do the networks realize this inherent complacency and create reality shows about every hobby/dream job they can think will draw viewers in? bet the government loves a passive and complacent populace.

and let me say that when the tv is on in my home that i'me reading a book instead (except for some sunday night HBO series, adult swim and wrestling...and semi-paying attention to that night's baseball game), i thought about this while watching "project runway"...and i know i enjoy watching it because it's something i love (hi, my name's rebecca and i'm a closet fashion whore) but don't have enough talent/drive/balls to go out and try it myself.

so...whaddayahthink...am i crazy?

current mood: possibly crazy
current song: "red hott" by the gossip

    Its Angie.

Yes, you are crazy but thats okay remember that we're all crazy. I once heard that from this awsome woman I know ...Mmmm, anyways reality t.v. can be entertaining sometimes when your super bored but you bring up a strong point, thinking about it now I've known people who'd rather catch "The Real World" on t.v. then actually be in it but the world is a hard place to live in.
I am surprised I havent tried not living in the real world all together, I've been there.
Sometimes, you get just stressed that you wish life was a half an hour t.v. show where everything's all patched up, any problem in one half hour.

Oh, remember thee other day how you asked if were entries were pointless, yeah but you think about things that are interesting, besides that who wants to be predictible anyway?
