just a quickie and i'll try to post something longer after running errands this afternoon...
sleater-kinney (whose virtues i've extolled on this here blog many, many times) is going on "indefinite hiatus" and are playing their last show in philly on monday night. stupid me didn't find this out til the show was sold out...but thanks to my genius friend sg, i checked out craigslist and found someone with a ticket.....sure, it may have to be overnighted UPS from nyc, but it's worth it to see them live for (most likely) the last time.
and speaking of genius friends, please check out the FFUR blogathon and think about sponsoring them. if you care about animals (CATS) and want to do something good today, fork over some cash to this little organization of four volunteers.
