i walked to the new place today, and it's 5 minutes closer than where i live now. woo-hoo!
there's a fruit cart in front of the hospital (on the next block) serving awesomely huge and fresh fruit salads. the small is $2.50 and i got big chunks of cantalope, watermelon, honeydew, pineapple, orange, strawberries, grapes and a whole banana. [drooling] i've been hoping a fruit cart would come down here...now let's hope it stays.
on the recommendation of my uncle, i checked out Stephen King's "On Writing" from the library. since the boy is gone, maybe i can get it read over the long weekend and post a review.
