had k&s over last night to hang out, watch Home Movies, talk and laugh and eat yummy snacks. i had a lot of fun. i think they did too. i need to have them over more often, even though my hermit-like tendencies tend to overtake me in the winter months. and k - i adore the hat you knitted me. you're the bestest.
just finished reading "As Simple As Snow" a couple of minutes ago. i'll get a review up here some time today, but i need to process what i read.
group discussion question(s): What was the last meal you ate? What would you choose as your last meal on earth? [i'm not trying to be morbid, but the book put me in an odd mood.]
the last meal i (just) ate was wheat toast with peanut butter, a banana and hot black tea. my last meal on earth, eaten in this order, would be a glass of junmai daiginjo sake (which is the best type of sake and always served chilled), a small bowl of rock shrimp tempura with spicy kochujan aioli (from morimoto restaurant), a small bowl of cherries, chocolate pudding (cooked on the stove top, not that instant crap) and then a cup of hot green tea. i think i could leave this world happy if i had that to fill me up.
edited to add: i had to remove the tagboard for the time being because it just wasn't fitting into this template.

so much to do and so little time. so little time and so little to do. so little do to and so much time. so much time and so much to do. to do, to do, so much and so little. little time. much time. time to do. to do much is little time. little time so much. much little time. to do much time. so little. so little. so much and so little. so. so. much. time. little to do. much to do. time little much. so time, little and much, to do. to. do.

Last meal I ate was a chicken olivada sandwich on sourdough and a calssic cafe salad from panera with a diet pepsi with lemon.
For my last meal...hmmm.. good question... so many choices.... i can narrow it to 2.. If it was a home cooked type meal, then I say my dad's rigatoni with meatballs and sausage with a big glass of diet coke and some crusty italian bread, topped off with a canoli from La Guli's
Now if it's restaurant style stuff, definitely the veal Milanese, with broccoli rabe, a side of angel hair pasta aglio/olio (garlic/olive oil), a big bottle of pinot grigio (because I AM NOT DRINKING ANY FUCKING MERLOT!! lol)and a strawberry napoleon for desert, from Cafe Ludovico here in Palm HArbor.
we definitely had fun! love getting together with you, and it's too bad it doesn't happen more often.
Queenie,
You precious gem, ahhh what a day, its so beautiful outside, dont you agree, I'm wearing my gray gem looking kinda flats, its so lovely, why do I feel like doing something like walking through a Cemetary?!!!! ha, see I'm way more morbid sounding than you, I actually think that its calming, there's nothing to fear about death, it happens to all of us sometime anyway, I feel so much better, about everything, I have come with a clear head, this day has brought me peace....I feel like I've been sick but today, even if only for today I'm cured....
I just love you, love, love, love, I know this may sound corny but thats all I feel today and hyperness from coffee that I stole from my grams this morning, he he.
