blanket!!!!

first things first...go to my photo blog and check out the mummers parade. i didn't take too many photos this year because i hadn't slept all night and wasn't really in the mood to be around a bunch of crazy south philadelphians.

and i'm watching RAW right now...cena bleeding all over kurt like that is GROSS. i mean, i loves me a blood match, but dripping blood all over someone's head when you've got them in a submission hold, well...that's a little much.

ok, so to address the title of this post. i finished that @&%^@%*)%$%^ t-shirt blanket. it was a lot of work, i mean A LOT OF WORK - cutting out 42 shirts, sewing them together into rows first, then sewing those rows together, and finish up by sewing a fitted sheet on the back. i did this diamond patterned stitch to give the blanket more stability and make sure the t-shirts and sheet stick together. here's a photo and if you click on it, you'll see the whole thing in four pieces. and yes, that's mister burns adding himself to the photo (because he always has to be the center of attention):

gotta go back to work tomorrow after having 10 days off. me tomorrow morning is not going to be pretty...just a grouchy, tired mess. but at least i've got my priorities straightened out and i'm taking steps to get some shit done and get in touch with the right people who might have the signposts because no one has the answers. vague enough for ya? that's my new policy...that and no more bitching about the writing thing :-)
