takeover

so, my room at work was taken over today by a training session for some people at the central office. i did not teach the class, so i was basically a nomad, just trying to find a bit of desk space to set up my laptop and paperwork. it sucked and the trainer wasn't that good...she was very condescending to everyone in the class and the building. so not cool. and because i really had no place to set up, i really didn't get everything done i wanted to. suckitude.

in typing this entry, i realized i don't talk about my job or my homelife all that much. maybe it's because i don't have any problems or questions with those two parts of my life....i like my job for the most part (which is teaching computers to people age 5-80 and i really have the best boss out of all the jobs i've had) and the boy is good, but he's a very private person. if you had asked me before 2000 if i'd be happy with a relationship or a job, i would have doubted it. i guess i take that for granted sometimes, only because there's no problems with it. hmmm...i guess that means i should do something nice for the boy and the boss to show my appreciation.

edited to add: if you haven't read Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, you should. I've read it several times and it rules. I may read it again on my xmas week vacay.

current mood: discombobulated
current song: nothing because i can't listen to anything in here
