first off, here's hoping philly panics over a few inches of snow (like they have in the past) and i have a snow day from work tomorrow...and maybe class will get cancelled tonight!)
secondly, i freakin' love teaching html and css (the language of the internet, in case you didn't know - you can see it for any page by going to View-Source in any browser). i'm showing my fellow computer teacher Raheem how to build web sites from scratch by typing out that language. the best part is the lightbulb moment - when something you've said clicks in that person's head and they get exactly what you're talking about and then want to start on a project to try it themselves. frickin' sweet. but i'm behind on other projects that need to get done at work. c'est la vie. it'll get done in due time.
and an update from last night....i finally have a 16 page section from the damn novel to hand in to class tonight, but i don't think it's very good. so instead of letting everyone just critique what they want, i've given people a few questions to consider and to tell me what isn't working. let the pettiness begin!
the boy's off the florida to FIP it up this weekend. he's gone til sunday, but at least i have the car, friends to hang out with and some quiet to work on said damn novel.
current mood: pleased

Dude, seriously, when did you get a blog? I knew about the photo-y one, but I had no idea about this...excepting of course that Sarah recently told me of it, which drew me here...but dude!
